The management of Vee Jaes Italian Restaurant have prepared some delicious alternative banquets for you and your party to choose from these menus are displayed on

 We at Vee Jaes understand the difficulty when organizing a large group function and satisfying every person and their individual tastebuds. To achieve absolute satisfaction of your guests we have allowed for these menus to be flexible.

Organizers must choose 2 of the following you can choose to have your choices served alternatively or in the centre of the table for all your guests to enjoy both selections

Vegetarian Pasta Selection

Fettuccine Checo

Refreshing pasta is unheard of these days unless it is a pasta salad. Well think again.

An olive oil based pasta has fresh egg noodles, aromatic basil and tossed with diced roma tomato and baby bocconcini.

 

Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Long pasta strands (noodles) sautéed with fresh garlic,

extra virgin olive oil, fresh chilli and  parsley.

 

Penne  Napolitana

A rustic crushed tomato, fresh basil and garlic classic.

 

Fettuccini Pesto

Flat stands of pasta tossed with a blend of garlic,

fresh basil and hints of parmesan.

 

Penne Melanzane

Short tube pasta tossed with freshly char grilled eggplant pieces finished in a Napolitana sauce and fresh basil.

Seafood pasta Selections

Fettuccini Vee Jaes

Flat stands of pasta infused with Tasmanian scallops and prawns poached in a blend of sage, fresh cream and a hint of crushed tomato.

 

Fettuccini Nappa

Refreshing blend of smoked salmon, fresh basil,

spanish onion and fresh roma tomato.

 

Penne Zarina

Short tube pasta infused with sage cream,

Tasmanian smoked salmon, fresh basil and caviar

Meat pasta selections

Tortellini Boscaiola

Pasta pocketed with fresh veal then infused with a creamy sauce of bacon pieces, field mushrooms and a hint of garlic.

 

Penne Amatricana

Tantalise the tastebuds with slithers of fresh leek, seared

pancetta pieces (bacon) fresh chilli, fresh basil and crushed tomato.

 

Chicken Penne

Tubular pasta infused with a lush cream of tender chicken breast, sundried tomato pine nuts and fresh basil.

Veal Selections

Veal Saltinbocca

Tender Veal back strap pocketed with, mozzarella cheese and Parma ham infused in a cream of fresh sage, a hint of garlic and served with baked potato and seasonal vegetables.

 

Vitello Piard

Tender veal backstrap brushed with extra virgin olive oil, fresh parsley,hints of fresh chilli and garlic. Served with seasonal vegetables

 

Vitello Funghi

Tender Veal backstrap marinated in fresh herbs then seared and infused in a cream sauce of field mushrooms, sprigs of fresh parsley and a hint fresh rosemary and garlic.Served with a roasted garlic mash potato

Chicken Selections

Pollo Oscar

A creamy sauce of fresh Tasmanian scallops, green tiger prawns and fresh sage on pan seared tender chicken breast served with seasonal vegetables

 

Pollo Parmigiana

Tender chicken breast sautéed in crushed roma tomatoes, fresh basil and then topped with slithers of grilled eggplant and mozzarella cheese served with seasonal vegetables

 

Chicken Rulard

Tender chicken breast pocketed with fresh spinach, ricotta and gruyere cheese, wrapped with prosciutto crudo, then infused in a light cream with hints of garlic, sage and sprigs of fresh parsley, then served on fresh spinach and seasonal asparagus.

Meat Selection

Vee Jaes Fillet Mignon

Tender Eye fillet marinated in fresh garlic and chopped parsley wrapped in prosciutto crudo then char grilled medium, topped with a béarnaise sauce, served w’ seasonal vegetables.

 

 Mignonette Rosemarino

Mignonette of beef marinated in fresh rosemary then seared and infused in a creamy sauce of field mushrooms, sprigs of fresh parsley and a hint of garlic accompanied be seasonal vegetables

 

Bistecca Al Pepe

Tender Eye fillet marinated in fresh garlic and peppercorns then char grilled and infused in creamy green peppercorn sauce with sprigs of fresh shallot and served with seasonal vegetables

 

Bistecca Diane

Tender Eye fillet marinated in fresh garlic and chopped parsley then char grilled andInfused in fresh cream and Worcestershire sauce, served with seasonal vegetables

Lamb Selections

Lamb Rack

90 day grain fed lamb char grilled medium then glazed in a caramelized jus blend soft merlot, sweet baby figs, sailors port and fresh rosemary and served on roasted potato

Seafood Selection

Fresh Catch of the Day

Fresh catch of the day grilled with a salmoriglio of fresh herbs, peppercorns, fresh chilli and extra virgin olive oil served with seasonal vegetables

 

Gamberi al Griglia

Fresh whole green king prawns divined and marinated with olive oil, garlic, fresh herbs & a hint of chilli,  served with drizzles of fresh lemon basil aioli and accompanied with seasonal vegetables

 

Gamberi al Pepe

Fresh whole green king prawns braised and infused with green peppercorns cream, finished with fresh sprigs of spring onions and strands of fresh leek
